Mack Hicks

Mack Hicks moved to Florida after residing in Suffolk, England and Madison, Wisconsin. His training in art and his background in psychology permit him to incorporate symbols and metaphors into his acrylic paintings in order to investigate the psychological aspects of the human condition.

He has shown his work at any number of settings and fund-raising functions, including the Museum of Fine Arts “Art in Bloom” auction, Artist Gallery Royale, Art Lofts at Florida Craftsman Gallery, the Croatian Naive Art Gallery and Museum, The St. Petersburg Art Center, and The Tampa Artist Emporium. The St. Petersburg Times used my expressionistic painting, “I Can Do It All,” for a nationally syndicated article titled “Altering Course at Mid Life.” He is a member of the Florida Artist Registry and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art (FRSA).
